Tiger, Tiger, Tiger Woods!!!!

Couple weekends ago at the Bridgestone PGA Event featured lots of great photos.

Here are my favourites of Tiger Woods.  I decided to feature them leading into the weekend to put a smile on you Tiger fans faces because Tiger is actually smiling....we don't see this too often!

Tiger Woods said he enters golf’s Deutsche Bank Championship feeling no ill-effects from the back spasms that dropped him to his knees during the final round of the U.S.

“I’ve gotten treatment every day, two to three times a day, And it feels good.”  Tiger was quoted.

Here's to hoping we see more smiles this weekend!!!

The Bold and the Beautiful.....

I choose this title for this post because players who played bold during the weekend didn’t come out on top it was the beautiful Adam Scott who was crowned the winner.

It was a tough weekend for those Tiger Woods fans.  He put on a quite a show this weekend and was one putt away from playing Adam Scott in a playoff.  From back pain, to missed putts it was a difficult weekend for Woods.  Having my two favourite players come so close to a playoff was just about all I could handle.  I am pleased to announce that the handsome Adam Scott was victorious at Barclay Golf Club.

Scott played bogey-free at Liberty National, making only two birdies on the back nine for a 5-under 66 that put him in the mix of a crowded leader board at the top. Turns out he was the only one who stayed there.

"I can't believe it, to be honest," Scott said after winning the FedEx Cup playoffs opener. "I just played a good round today and I came in and really didn't think it had a chance. But obviously, things went my way a lot out there."

Woods, Woodland and Rose shared second place with Graham DeLaet of Canada, whose 65 matched the low score of the final round. DeLaet will move up to No. 9 in the Presidents Cup standings, and with one week before qualifying ends, is in good shape to make the International team.  Only the top 100 players in the FedEx Cup advance to the second playoff event next week outside Boston.

Scott rose from No. 4 to a career-best No. 2 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Adam Scott, of Australia, hits out of a bunker on the sixth hole Sunday.

Barclays Golf Course Photos....

With such a beautiful weekend on the horizon I know I’m going to have a difficult time sitting down and enjoy it through a television.  But with a great pack of PGA pros taking to the links this weekend I thought I would share a few photos of what we can see this weekend if we make time for this fantastic tournament.   I can hardly wait to recap this weekends events for you all.  Enjoy it…

Which PGA Pro is Engaged.....????

The world of golf will never be the same again after the announcement that Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnston are officially engaged over the weekend.  We found out about this exciting news via Instagram.  “Never been happier,” she wrote.

Johnson also shared a close-up of the engagement ring – Paulina’s a very lucky girl! -- with the caption "She said yes!"

We have seen Paulina around the golf world for about a year.  He told ET Canada they met at a dinner hosted by Paulina's parents. “We were friends for a long time before we started dating,” he said.

They first were linked at the start of the year when she was in the gallery at Kapalua, where Johnson won the Tournament of Champions. Gretzky and his wife, Janet, joined their daughter the following week in Honolulu at the Sony Open.

I don’t know about you guys but I am pretty excited to see her Instagram photos that cover all things wedding because I can guarantee her bachelorette party will be one for the record books.

Part One: Rules of Golf....

Today’s Post is part one of discussing the most common rules of golf.  This is a refresher for you avid golfers and a breakdown of the rules for you beginners to hopefully make them less overwhelming.

1. Giving advice on the course:

You cannot ask what club a fellow-competitor or opponent used, or tell anyone how to execute a swing. You can ask your partner what club she used.
You cannot ask how far it is from your ball (but you can ask what the yardage is from a permanent marker that is public knowledge).
You cannot ask if your ball is playable if someone finds a lost ball for you (but you can ask for Rules of Golf information on what your options are for an unplayable lie).

2. Grounding a club in a hazard:

Before hitting a ball out of a bunker or water hazard, you are prohibited from touching the ground in the hazard with your club or hand, even when setting up to the ball. You may not touch or move any loose impediments (such as rocks or leaves), nor test the condition of the sand before hitting.

3. Where to play a ball which is in a water hazard:

You cannot drop a ball along the imaginary line known as the “line of flight.”
For a regular water hazard, marked with yellow stakes or lines, there are three options: 1) play the ball as it lies; or, under penalty of one stroke, 2) play another ball from where the original ball was struck into the hazard; or 3)drop behind the hazard, keeping the point where the ball last crossed the margin of the hazard between the hole and the spot on which the ball is dropped.
For a lateral water hazard, marked with red stakes or lines, there are five options, the first three are the same as for a regular hazard. The other two options are also under penalty of one stroke, 4) drop 2 club lengths from the point of entry into the hazard; or 5) drop 2 club lengths from point on the opposite margin, equidistant from the hole.

4. Improving your lie or position by moving growing things:

You cannot improve the position or lie of your ball, the area of your intended swing, or your line of play by moving or bending anything growing or fixed, or moving or pressing anything down with your club or foot, unless you are taking your stance or actually making a stroke.

They Must Have Lost Their Luggage......

I’m forever giving the LPGA player’s a rough time about what they wear to Tour events.  Last weekend at the British Open we saw less leg but ugly tops.  I was seriously disappointed with the lack of cute colour coordinating outfits that look pretty and girly.   I'm hoping they lost their luggage going across the sea and thats why they look not stylish.

What ever happened to pretty in pink???

I mean I didnt realize they allowed jail breakers to roam the golf course let alone play....

What is on her head?? Like at least make it match..
If it's that cold wear pants....
